Mike Caddell: "The New White Jesus is a Kansan tax protester and a 'free market' capitalist"
To the coming parade of big name Republican revanchists collecting mega-dollars across our fair regions. Especially, to the followers of the former Gov. Sarah Palin, Fox News employee, who tours this weekend, May 1st – 2nd, 2010 (adding to her $20 million yearly income) both Independence, Mo. And Wichita, Ks.
And to those disabled and in need of a public education in Kansas, without a prayer, about to be thrown out onto the Kansas streets, at the mercy of “charity.”

A number of elite-financed “Tea Party” gatherings across the state are visible and loudly reported in the local media, fomented by a dwindling number of old sourpusses from the white middle class, largely against taxing the same “free market” millionaires selling them the same old snake poison, who swallow white Christian nationalism as a cure-all medicinal, but that may be, only for the present.
They largely represent the “old” Kansas of the last thirty or more years since the astrologically-advised President Ronald Reagan became a senile sock-puppet for the religious hyenas of empire. Smart conservatives started leaving the Kansas Republican Party back then.
Whole decades of reactionary religious slogans have plagued the state’s reputation, too frequently in the voices of a loud minority of powerful political demagogues.
Kansans have ran to the pulpit thunder through a gamut of intolerant bigotry; “God Hates Fags”, “the Bible is against teaching evolution in our public schools” and perhaps the most vulgar, a deeply entrenched anti-woman “pro-life” bunch of hypocrites, a powerful and murderous group, overwhelmingly white and supportive of every bloody (and deficit delivering) military intervention abroad since Vietnam.
Could it be that since the church-killing of Dr. George Tiller last year, a few independent intelligent conservatives quietly aided by many democratic progressives in the state started a rally against the deadly demagogues’ designs?
Signs of intelligent designs in the Kansas legislature might be forthcoming, but like the state’s motto “ad astra per aspera” (to the stars through struggle) the epic story of the Free State is guaranteed to be as locals joke, “no cakewalk.”
It might be too early to read the tea leaves, but there are some signs at the bottom of the legislature’s annual cup, in the form of a battle over further inhumane (dare we say “un-Christian”) cuts to public education and social services in Kansas.
Not the Americans’ for Prosperity cup of tea – but the Green Tea of the Progressive Populists?
A determined section of smart Kansans are emerging into public view, and are beginning to act; around free public education, sustainable clean energy policies, and social rehabilitative and widespread public health services alongside local green food autonomy. People are heated up on these issues, but will they come out and pound the election polls with enough fury to force these issues beyond policy and into the sunlight on the sidewalk?
Fundamentally the widespread hot anger must be directed against the Kansans’ most responsible, the incumbent federal congressional delegates; Sen. Sam Brownback, Sen. Pat Roberts, Rep. Todd Tiahrt, Rep. Jerry Moran and those on both sides of the aisle who mouth more messages of misery, without listening to the peoples’ solutions. This is the kind of heat that is starting the drive to the top of this new populist cup of green tea.
With more budget-busting federal military interventions abroad in store, the state’s dominant political leaders have Kansans as permanently oil-addicted, or as heavily subsidized and tax sheltered capitalists and corn farmers. They have yet to hear our tea kettles scream, or for that matter the roar of our electoral guns, with the exception of a few lone voices coming from the Kansas senate.
Tom Holland, Chris Steineger and U. S. senate candidate Charles Schullenburger, are listening to us, and when given a podium have much to say about solutions in Kansas, a possible green tea of progressive populism.
Don’t underestimate the once proud Free State’s legacy – it predestined a national Civil War. Ironically, this time around, the state’s founding “Party of Lincoln” (now completely bleached of any legacy of the then Afro-American leader Fredrick Douglas) could very quickly fall into total ruin and obscurity.
Perhaps it is fitting and best that intelligent and independent conservatives point the spear head and act with others to mercifully euthanize the Kansas Republican Party, by aiding and abetting, any and all desiring to throw out the deeply entrenched incumbent congressional leaders who made the state, lately and wrongfully, into a national laughingstock of Know Nothing hypocrites.
The Do-Nothings still sit squarely in the Republican dominated chambers of the state legislature, who with all the guile of egg robbing bobcats, have pushed current Gov. Parkinson into a regressive taxation policy.

From San Pedro Pochutla prison in Oaxaca, the university of crime and violence, we raise our voices, our feelings, our rebellious spirit, our anger and courage.
Today, January 15, 2009, marks the fourth year we’ve been held captive by tyrants protected by laws that give them the right to kidnap, kill, and disappear our brothers and sisters who go against their projects. We say to the neoliberal puppets headed by the killer Ulises Ruiz Ortiz (URO) and to his scroungy dogs turned loose on a crime spree to fill the prisons with innocent people, that our people’s only crime is demanding their rights. As these killers well know, our rebellion comes from the heart and we’ll never just sit back and watch this injustice go on. All their chains and cells and walls aren’t strong enough to keep our voice from being heard.
URO can’t talk to us about a State of law when there are hundreds dead, whose deaths are still not accounted for. He’s using the news media to attack our people, our own sons and daughters, raising them to be killers with those television cartoons of blood and death. All different kinds of weapons are used to transmit this violent message and then they have the gall and the most nauseating hypocrisy to tell us they’re fighting crime. They sell our resources to the highest bidder while our people bear the brunt of the direst poverty, and then they act like they’re so concerned about how terrible the economic crisis is. If they really cared about the people, why haven’t they used half the money allotted for their salaries to help out the most dispossessed class in our state? No. Just the opposite. The people foot the bill for everything, even for the security guards that protect their children. While all this goes on, they trick us with crumbs from the table, sending us programs that keep us in this same wretched state of poverty at the same time they brag about all the progress our state is making. I ask myself, what kind of progress is this?
There’s simply no answer.
This is why we raise our voices, and they pay us back with jail time and threats to our families for going up against the dismal reality we experience in our country, in our state. And we keep speaking out against all this, maybe in a letter, a demonstration at a government office, a denunciation, a song, a poem, a painting. We must always remember, people, that if we bow down to this treatment, our children will suffer the consequences. We were born free. We love freedom. So seeing as how all those puppets still don’t wear chains, we’ll never slack off in our struggle. And since so many of us have been killed, disappeared, or locked up, we can’t take one step backward.
And finally, just in case anybody feels offended by the way we think and talk, because, yes, maybe we’re a little bit rude, all we can say is that you have to talk to hypocrites in the only language they understand. History tells us that the great Mexican anarchist Ricardo Flores Magón once said that to be a diplomat, you’d have to have been a hypocrite first.

Velvet Revolution offers $100,000 reward to whistleblowers!
Non-Profit Offers $100,000 Reward for Information Tying Karl Rove and Michael Connell To Election Rigging
Today, Velvet Revolution (VR) , a non-profit dedicated to clean and accountable government, offered a $100,000 reward to whistleblowers for information tying Karl Rove and Michael Connell to illegal election manipulations.
Other Republican whistleblowers, most notably world renowned computer expert Stephen Spoonamore, have stated recently that the Republican Party has been rigging elections for years through electronic computer manipulations. Mr. Spoonamore, a colleague of Mike Connell, gave a recent interview in which he stated that the upcoming election will be stolen and rigged by the GOP unless otherwise exposed.
That interview is posted in full at www.rovecybergate.com. Mr. Connell is the CEO of GovTech Solutions, a company that works with a “Who’s Who” of Republican politicians. Mr. Connell refuses “to work for Democrats” and is “loyal to the Bush family.” And it was Mr. Connell who ran the Florida Government computer network during the presidential election of 2000 and the Ohio Secretary of State election computers during the presidential election of 2004.
He has been at the scene of every major national electoral scandal of the past decade and has been fingered as being involved in the destruction of White House emails.
Velvet Revolution wants other whistleblowers to come forward to provide additional information about Mr. Connell’s involvement in election manipulations and his relationship to Karl Rove.
Specifically, VR is looking for evidence of criminal activity and corroboration that Mr. Connell set up computer networks to change the vote tabulations in key states and helped destroy White House computer data.
VR is also seeking evidence about GovTech’s former president, Randy Cole, who left his post another ago to run for the Ohio state congress in the 41st District. Information provided to VR will be kept confidential and VR has set up a tip line to field the calls. 1-888-VOTETIP.

Amsterdam - September 29 - 2008 - Financially seen, it's really a 'Black Monday' today. While the people in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg as usual were not informed and last night went to sleep, Euro 11.2 billion (£9 bn - $US 16.2 bln) of their tax money was ripped off by their so called governments and given away to the banking cartel criminals who had set them up. It was a heist similar to the $US 700 Paulson/Bernanke Fed grab in the US.
This pouring out of so much tax money, €11.2billion, was 'necessary' the treacherous EU spokesmen and collaborating PM's and compliant ministers of finance explained: "to save Fortis". The robbers claimed that otherwise ''the shock waves would have been felt in the whole of European Union'' with its 26 countries and 495 million inhabitants. The same fake excuse as in the US, and the same financial cartel with its gangsters. And the so called 'governments' have NO control over the banks whatsoever. The political personnel uses 11.2 billion tax Euros to nationalize the debts, but can't check anything?
Most of those people will protest this thievery when they'll understand what's been going on again, because many know that there are only two kinds of people: those who pay taxes, and those who live and profit from tax payers.
THE CRIMINAL FINANCIAL CARTEL GOT AWAY WITH 11.2 BILLION EURO
The Guardian paper in the UK - which of course supports the robbers in between the lines - now on Monday (29-9-8) writes ''that was acted to prevent the Fortis financial group's collapse''. This is crap, but the official smoke and mirror story. Like in the rest of the major mainstream media the robbers also own. In reality - the by them made reality - the London cartel got away with 11.2 billion Euro in again stolen tax money, criminally pledged by their european collaborators.
The London cartel earlier named (he was NOT chosen by the 495 million Europeans) one of their own crooks - Peter Mandelson - as the boss of the European power and profit production unit, European Union. And to understand how for instance robbers run a business: the bookkeeping of this huge EU has NOT been audited for the last thirteen years.

Amsterdam - September 29 - 2008 - Financially seen, it's really a 'Black Monday' today. While the people in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg as usual were not informed and last night went to sleep, Euro 11.2 billion (£9 bn - $US 16.2 bln) of their tax money was ripped off by their so called governments and given away to the banking cartel criminals who had set them up. It was a heist similar to the $US 700 Paulson/Bernanke Fed grab in the US.
This pouring out of so much tax money, €11.2billion, was 'necessary' the treacherous EU spokesmen and collaborating PM's and compliant ministers of finance explained: "to save Fortis". The robbers claimed that otherwise ''the shock waves would have been felt in the whole of European Union'' with its 26 countries and 495 million inhabitants. The same fake excuse as in the US, and the same financial cartel with its gangsters. And the so called 'governments' have NO control over the banks whatsoever. The political personnel uses 11.2 billion tax Euros to nationalize the debts, but can't check anything?
Most of those people will protest this thievery when they'll understand what's been going on again, because many know that there are only two kinds of people: those who pay taxes, and those who live and profit from tax payers.

In reality - the by them made reality - the London cartel got away with 11.2 billion Euro in again stolen tax money, criminally pledged by their european collaborators.
The London cartel earlier named (he was NOT chosen by the 495 million Europeans) one of their own crooks - Peter Mandelson - as the boss of the European power and profit production unit, European Union. And to understand how for instance robbers run a business: the bookkeeping of this huge EU has NOT been audited for the last thirteen years.

Did you catch the previously unknown footage of McCain on Thursday night by a Swedish TV station? It was from March 14, 1973, when McCain was released by the Vietnamese. This was not the tortured cripple of the “returning hero” clips and photos we’ve been seeing. He looks pretty spry, albeit with a slight limp.

Schroder correctly adds:
I assume such a news coverage would be totally impossible on US TV, especially the critical reflections on the USA’s war in Vietnam, and the juxtaposition of McCain’s heroic bombing raids with the suffering of the bombed Vietnamese on the ground. But then, of course, the main Swedish TV is public, not privately owned. Not to say that we do not get some propaganda, but nothing like what’s dished up in the USA. I follow the major papers and some TV on the web, and I fail to understand how the people put up with this. If Goebbels still were around, he would eat his heart out with envy.
As far as I am concerned no one who flies up in the air carpetbombing a helpless civilian population, is a hero. McCain and others make out like these were Red Baron dog fighter times, or WW II RAF pilots who ran a much, much higher risk. The real heroes – if one wants to call them that – in this totally immoral war were the grunts who actually had to meet the “enemy”. The same of course goes for the “heroic” bomber pilots in the present immoral wars in Afghanistan/Pakistan and Iraq.
It is really depressing from our perspective, that such a large part of the US voters seem to be addicted to this kind of false heroic myths, to such a degree that one can build a whole election on some bomb raids 40 years ago committed on a hapless population by a greedy foreign power. It may well be that McCain felt at the time that he was doing the right thing, and felt proud of it. But it is depressing that 40 years later he still is proud of it, instead of regretting what he has doen and hang his head in shame. Even more depressing that close to half the voters lap this up.
And most depressing of all that even Obama and the Dems feel they have to pay lip service to this immoral hogwash and constantly debase themselves in worship of McCain the Hero.Woe is us.

Amongst all the thousands of weasel-words we read by journalists in Britland (or Airstrip One as I call it) there aren't many who stand out as the proponents of common decency. Ideological and economical totalitarianism has seen to that. As every day goes by and the transatlantic police state grows more markedly oppressive
we see how common decency is being replaced by a smiling evil which insists on retaining the pretence of democracy.Democracy? Shamocracy! The West is no less totalitarian than its old economic competitor, Germany under Hitler's Third Reich. Only the language, uniforms and the goose-steps are missing. But even the helmets worn by GIs today in Iraq and Afghanistan bear a remarkable resemblance to the old Stahlhelm of the Third Reich

I THINK IT WAS ERIC FROMM WHO OVER 50 YEARS AGO OBSERVED THAT IN THE WEST WE TOO LIVE IN A TOTALITARIAN SOCIETY.
When I first read it --I think it was in his book, The Sane Society - I was somewhat shocked to find myself agreeing with Fromm that my life experience confirmed what he had said. 
That was thirty years ago. Everything that has happened since has only gone to reinforce that view. We do live in a totalitarian society. It's just a different flavour of totalitarianism to others.
In many ways it's worse than others because we are constantly brainwashed in a very Orwellian way to believe that we are free and what we have is democracy. Even the slightest examination of those assumptions will show how untrue they are. Try disagreeing in a serious way with the system and see what happens to you.
ORGANISATIONS LIKE NATO ARE THE INTERNATIONAL GANGSTERS OF WESTERN OR NWO TOTALITARIANISM.
I was in my teens when the Berlin Wall was built in the 'sixties and as a history student used to receive a freebie from the Central Office of Information called NATO Review (in those days I was still taking the Blue Pill before switching over to the Red variety).
A constant theme in NATO Review was that NATO was a defensive organisation set up to defend the West from what it called 'Soviet aggression.' NATO, it said, would happily dissolve itself the moment that the Warsaw Pact (or Warsaw Treaty Organisation) did the same. In the same way the USUK promised to scrap its nuclear missiles if Russia did the same.
The first statement, at least, was a barefaced lie. Though the Warsaw Pact dissolved itself along with the Soviet Union not only did NATO not follow suit but it EXPANDED its organisation to include east European, ex-Warsaw Pact countries. Ceasing to be simply an organisation concerning itself with issues in the North Atlantic area of interest it is now throwing its weight about in countries in Central Asia (Afghanistan) and on track soon to be in the Caucasus (Georgia)!
Apropos of that, all that nonsense we were fed then about why the Soviets built the Berlin Wall missed out on what had led to it: the east Germans (German Democratic Republic) wanted to have an economic union with the west Germans (German Federal Republic) so both might use the same Deutschmark. The US pressured the west Germans into turning down their east German relatives. When the DDR realised there was no chance of economic unity they were faced with a quandary which threatened their survival: east Germans were freely going over to west Germany to work and earning much higher incomes. So finally they were forced into stopping the westward flow by building a wall. After the passing of nearly half a century, I wonder how many of you will know that side of the story? See how good the 'Free West' is in suppressing inconvenient truths?
Returning to common decency, one of the few decent journalists left in the West, John Pilger recently published this about how we in the West were lied to about NATO's aggression in the old Yugoslavia. The Alex Jones article below tells of a major PSYOPS coup conducted by NATO and the Western MSM against the Serbs and how they did it again in the Georgian Conflict.

Instead, the western propaganda machine turned reality on its head and tried the Serbs for war crimes! The court which is 'trying' these crimes was bankrolled to do so by the West to punish its enemies and no other. Nur

We have just lived through an immense propaganda war (PSYOPS) in which, contrary to the facts, we have been told that a country run by a mentally unstable mafiosi type, Saakashvili, has been the victim of those bad Russians.
Goebbels would go green with envy if he could see the subtle techniques of disinformation the BBC uses today.

Last night Georgia launched an attack to take back the breakaway republic of South Ossetia. The attack is being led by the 4th Motorized Brigade which has been the focus of U.S. training and support effort over the past few years. The attack is most likely being supported by reconnaissance troops that have been trained by Israel since October and drones purchased by Georgia from Israel.
The oil pipeline that runs from Baku, Azerbaijan to Chehan, Turkey is very close to where the fighting is taking place. That pipeline was cut earlier in the week by the Iraq-based PKK, and the Ossetians had threatened to cut it if Georgia launched an offensive. Since last night, the situation has escalated at a very rapid pace. At first volunteers from Russia were reported to be flowing into South Ossetia. Within the last hour, Russian units have been reported moving into the area. Russia reported seven minutes ago that 10 Russian peacekeepers have been killed and 30 wounded. Putin warned from Beijing that he will not tolerate the killing of Russians.
The situation is made more delicate for the United States because the 4th Brigade is the unit that has supplied troops for Iraq and Afghanistan. Also 1,200 U.S. troops have also just completed a joint exercise with the 4th Brigade in the past few days in Georgia.

Earlier this week the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard announced the test of a new anti-ship cruise missile. According to the Iranian news agency, this new missile has a range of 300km (~180 miles).
I am normally skeptical of Iranian technology claims. I’m particularly skeptical of their claims about range and capabilities of the Shaab missiles. Just by looking at the parade pictures of the Shaabs, one gets the impression of a hobby-shop for missiles rather than a serious military production. Almost every missile is different, different fins, different connectors, different nose guards and different launchers. The Iranians exaggerate, and the United States exaggerates the Iranian exaggeration. The truth serves the objective of neither country.
The new anti-ship missile got my attention, however. Recall in 2006 Hezbollah struck an Iranian ship that was shelling Beirut airport with a C-802 missile. Even before that eye-opening shot, there were reports the Iranians were working on an extended range of the missile. My guess is the new missile is a version of the C-802.
I think in this case, the Iranian claims have to be taken seriously. Two reason for that. First, they have proven the technology. Second, with a range of 180 miles, the Gulf equation changes significantly.
The Iranians might now be able to reach tankers as they are loading and unloading on the western side of the Gulf. In addition, it means the U.S. capability to defend tankers almost evaporates. During the Tanker War, 1984-1987, it was possible to use U.S. Navy ships to convoy tankers out of the Gulf because the threat was short range weapons.
With a new weapon of this range, the U.S. would be forced to go after the missiles offensively, attacking missile locations in Iran. A little Google Earth analysis shows how difficult that would be. The Iranians have all their anti-ship missiles in covered shelters and probably in other locations. It would be a problem similar to the Scud hunting during Gulf I.
The threat to the flow of oil has just gone up a couple notches.

Last night Georgia launched an attack to take back the breakaway republic of South Ossetia. The attack is being led by the 4th Motorized Brigade which has been the focus of U.S. training and support effort over the past few years. The attack is most likely being supported by reconnaissance troops that have been trained by Israel since October and drones purchased by Georgia from Israel.

Tuesday, August 5, 2008 - UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan appointed Professor H. Köchler in April 2000 as the international UN-observer at the Scottish Court in the Netherlands concerning the Lockerbie Trial, and his comments on the Scottish Court's verdict in August 2003 were bitter. "This has been a political court case, where the verdict already was decided upon in advance", a shocked Professor Köchler, the UN-observer at the Scottish Lockerbie Court at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands stated. "The whole is a spectacular miscarriage of justice." he said.
"This was a classical case of a "Show Process" from the time of the Cold War. Like they had in the Soviet Union and East Germany before the Iron Curtain fell", Professor Hans Köchler commented, after the verdict of the Scottish Court's conclusion in the Lockerbie Trial.

Bush on Monday (Aug. 4th 2008) signed into law legislation paving the way for Libya to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to compensate U.S. victims of bombing attacks that Washington blames on Tripoli. The Libyan Claims Resolution Act clears the way to resolve all outstanding U.S. claims related to what Washington regards as Libyan terrorist acts. These include the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, that killed 270 people and the 1986 bombing of a Berlin disco that killed three people and wounded 229.
"For too many years, Libya has refused to accept responsibility for its horrific acts of terrorism against American victims," said Sen. Frank Lautenberg, the New Jersey Democrat who sponsored the original legislation to allow compensation. "But after the pressure we applied, Libya will finally be held accountable for these devastating events. Our bill becoming law means these victims and their families can get the long overdue justice they deserve." The United States and Libya worked out a tentative deal to resolve all the outstanding cases. Libya has yet to sign the agreement but U.S. officials said they expected it to do so after the deal was signed into U.S. law.
Bush signed the bill before leaving Washington on a week-long visit to Asia. A group of Lockerbie victims' families said the new moves brought them a step closer to holding Libya accountable. "It is a relief to say that this part of our fight is coming to an end. There's still more work to be done and the families aren't done fighting for the truth," said Kara Weipz, spokeswoman for the Families of the Victims of Pan Am 103. "There are still a lot of things that we want to know."
FURTHER WARMING IN TIES BETWEEN TRIPOLI AND WASHINGTON?
Under the arrangement, Libya would not accept responsibility for the acts, but would provide the money to compensate the victims. CENTRAL TO AL-MEGRAHI'S APPEAL AGAINST HIS CONVICTION
Mr Gauci's testimony at the trial was crucial to al-Megrahi's conviction. He told the trial at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands that the Libyan had bought clothes at his shop which the prosecution claimed were packed into the suitcase bomb that exploded over Lockerbie on December 21 1988. The defence team believe Mr Gauci may have received a larger sum from the US authorities. His role in the case is to be central to al-Megrahi's appeal against his conviction, which the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission said was unsafe.
They are to press for full disclosure of these payments, and the release of a potentially vital US document which is thought to cast doubt on official accounts about the timer allegedly used in the bombing, at an appeal hearing next week.
The secret document is believed to dispute prosecution claims that al-Megrahi used a digital timer bought from a Swiss company, Mebo, and then planted the bomb on a flight from Malta to Germany - a disclosure which would fatally undermine his conviction." KEY EVIDENCE IN THE LOCKERBIE BOMBING TRIAL WAS FABRICATED
A Former Scottish police chief has given lawyers a signed statement claiming that key evidence in the Lockerbie bombing trial was fabricated. The retired officer - of assistant chief constable rank or higher - has testified that the CIA planted the tiny fragment of circuit board crucial in convicting a Libyan for the 1989 mass murder of 270 people. The police chief, whose identity has not yet been revealed, gave the statement to lawyers representing Abdelbaset Ali Mohamed Al Megrahi, currently serving a life sentence in Greenock Prison.
The evidence will form a crucial part of Megrahi's attempt to have a retrial ordered by the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC). The claims pose a potentially devastating threat to the reputation of the entire Scottish legal system. The officer, who was a member of the Association of Chief Police Officers Scotland, is supporting earlier claims by a former CIA agent that his bosses "wrote the script" to incriminate Libya.
Other important questions remain unanswered, such as how the officer learned of the alleged conspiracy and whether he was directly involved in the inquiry.
